Personally, Cynthia, my eyebrow hairs are disappearing, HOWEVER... those daggone chin hairs...!!

Anyone else ever notice how those little eyebrow hairs seem to sprout up overnight?! (or any other unwanted body hair, for that matter!)

Hi Diana and welcome to this great group!

I, too, have shared custody (50/50) with my ex and I, like you, married for life. It was rather difficult to imagine that I was in the situation I was in, but I was the one who left over 9 years ago and I am here to tell you there IS life after divorce! It is quite a journey, isn't it, to get to that point.

I do have a new life and last evening my 6-yr-old son was watching Meet the Robinsons and what stood out to me was the father's motto: Keep Moving Forward. Put the past behind and keep moving forward.

Great advice, I thought, given the fact that the past is done - gone - all we have is today. We don't want to be stagnate. Life is too short. It is meant to be lived with joy, passion and purpose. Discovering our deepest passions and purpose can be a challenge in itself sometimes.

It sounds like you have come through to the other side! My empathetic thoughts and prayers are with you! THE BEST IS YET TO COME as Michael Buble sings with such gusto! (LOVE his sound!)

Have a Super Sunday, Diana! :)

I'm new to the group. Share split custody of a tween and a teen, boy, girl. I'm 46 years old......and just starting to live it seems. I thought I'd be married for life, so it took me seven years, this year, to get over not being married and start on a new life. I'm enjoying a real new outlook! Great to find this blog and group.

StyleSubstanceSoul.com is giving away lots of treats for Halloween. Winners are picked tomorrow so enter to win by sending an email to Swag@stylesubstancesoul.com, with the name of the treat in the subject line.

This small but potent volume is a great gift for yourself and all the creative people in your life.

This collectible three-disc set features some great episodes, including Mary’s night in jail and her audition to become a newscaster, along with the characters – Lou, Rhoda, Ted, Phyllis – we’ve come to consider family.

What we also love about this movie is the Manhattan Portage computer bag created to promote it. Roomy, cushy and sophisticated, we’re giving away these great-looking bags.

Between Michelle Pfeiffer, Rupert Friend and a glittering, decadent Paris at the dawn of the 20th century, “Cheri” is a total treat for the eyes, and we’re celebrating its DVD release by giving it away.
