NM makeup looks more vampire-like, so it doesn't work in the school scene because they stick out so much. Other than that I still prefer it, can't wait to see NM again.

Jasper loooked plum crazy to me with the hair & Rosalie was definitely more attractive in the first. The wigs were a poor choice. I thought overall that the maleup was better although I have to admit I prefer the more subtle suggestion of their "oth…

I am not liking the eyes so much.....they look like contacts. Especially...Alice. She looks weird.

I liked the makeup much better in New Moon, than inTwilight. The stark white vs. bright red lips of Edward in the first movie really bugged me. And I agree with oshun55, I loved Edward's hair!

Okay, now that I have seen it twice, I think it is better than the first one. I think they look a little more vampirish namely in the eyes. I like how she differenciated the different vampires by their eyes and their stages of thirst. I like how thi…

I like it better than Twilight makeup which seemed way to low-budget and pancake-like. I even remember laughing at some of the really bad makeup moments, like Esme's hairline in the kitchen scene. NM is definitely more professional. And I LOVE Edwar…

Ah! That is totally it! I had to sit and think a while back WHY so many older women like reading this series. My BF and my sis were discussing it and we summized that it totally had to do with the exuberance of youth, and falling in love and not rea…

I know I have to wait until I see the full movie but the screen shots and clips that I've seen so far are not making me a fan of the makeup. I think they are definitely clearer on the Cullen's emotional/hunger state with the eye color but they just…

Yeah, I didn't understand that shift either. But I would like to win that bad boy!

Nikki, I'm so with you on Midnight Sun. I really hope she gets the opportunity to finish that up because her fans are definitely craving that full perspective from Edward. And it also keeps the story alive.

Babysitting resource for mom and dad's personal day trip

The glaring obstacle that stares many transplants in the face is reliable and trustworthy childcare for evening getaways or weekend day trips. The absence of family in town leaves parents with few choices besides babysitter services.

On-line sitter services flood the web. The top three in the market are Care.com, Nannies4hire, and Sittercity.com. I interviewed one of the market leaders, Care.com, after exploring the site through the premium membership and putting myself through the arduous sitt… Continue

Thanksgiving Travel

This past Thanksgiving weekend was a real eye opener for me. Generally, I promote parents traveling anywhere their hearts desire with their children. Whether they are traveling as a couple or alone, with preparation and patience, traveling with their kids can be a non-anxious exercise. After my recent holiday travel ordeal, I've had to make some personal edits to my general assertion.

Do you have a Twitter account? What do you tweet about?

I tweet about my fight with breast cancer and becoming a mom for the first time. I have been trying to find more people to follow me so that I can spread awareness:
